DR JO MILIOS (PHD)

Men's Health Physiotherapist & Yoga Therapist

Jo is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and qualified Yoga Teacher who specialises in Men's Health; focusing on prostate cancer rehabilitation, urinary and sexual dysfunction and pelvic pain. Having just completed her PhD studies at UWA, she presents courses and work shops for the public and health professionals over Australia and internationally. Jo has  a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing Men's Health concerns, with holistic, client-centred and evidence-based treatments.

BEC FORSTER

Senior Physiotherapist, Strength & Conditioning Coach & Yoga Teacher & Clinical Pilates Instructor & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Therapist

Bec has many years experience working in NSW and WA with Australian Defence Force members and their families, as well as working with semi-professional and professional athletes and clubs. Her special interests are sports and musculoskeletal injuries, gym based rehabilitation, pregnancy care and Men's Health in particular pre and post-prostatectomy. She is a qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach, Yoga Teacher, Clinical Pilates Instructor and a trained STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Therapist.   Bec also teaches Yoga and is part of teaching staff at The Yoga Vine.

REBEKAH TAYLOR

Women and Men's Health Physiotherapist

Rebekah qualified as a physiotherapist in 2008 from Keele University in the UK and went on to complete
her post-graduate certificate in 'Physiotherapy in Women’s Health' as part of her Masters degree.
Rebekah has a special interest in the management of gynecological, ante-natal and post-natal conditions, as well as pelvic floor problems. She is passionate about post-natal care and has brought the Mummy MOT service to Australia, which is a one stop clinic for post-natal assessment and treatment. Rebekah also treats Men’s Health conditions such as incontinence following prostate surgery, pelvic pain
and erectile dysfunction and she is qualified in Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) used to treat overactive bladder symptoms and faecal incontinence. Rebekah can assist with any incontinence issues, prolapse management, pelvic pain/lower back pain, separation of abdominal muscles, painful intercourse and bladder and bowel retraining.

CHARLENE DUNCAN

Senior Physiotherapist, PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehab Physiotherapist, Accredited Lymphoedema Physiotherapist

Charlene comes from a strong rehabilitation background. She completed a double major degree in Human Anatomy and Exercise Physiology at the University of Western Australia. She then moved on to attain her Physiotherapy qualifications from the School of Physiotherapy, Curtin University.  
Charlene’s educational qualifications, together with several years of experience as an exercise physiologist and a personal trainer has brought her to Pilates and gym-based rehabilitation and specialised exercise prescription.
Also specially trained and certified as an ALA Accredited Lymphoedema Physiotherapist, Breast and reconstructive Physiotherapist and Cancer rehabilitation physiotherapist, Charlene’s current focus is in the area of lymphoedema management and cancer rehabilitation for both women and men. Charlene is actively involved in designing individualised cancer rehabilitation programs for cancer patients, through the PINC and STEEL program.
Charlene’s experiences stretches across various areas, including working and travelling with elite sporting teams and teaching positions at Curtin University School of Physiotherapy and also at The School of Anatomy and Human Biology, University of Western Australia. One who enjoys public speaking and engaging in public presentations, Charlene keeps herself constantly updated in her area of study through current literature and continuous education.
